Non-Verbal Communication

  • How do we deal with the emotions of someone who won’t tell you have they feel?
  • What if what they are telling you doesn’t jive with the message their body is sending?
  • Are gestures universal?
  • Is it possible to tell if someone is telling a lie?

This advanced workshop focuses on non-verbal communication as the primary communicator of emotion and attitude.

  • Facial Expressions and eye contact
  • Proxemics and the use of space
  • Haptics and the use of touch
  • Chronemics and the use of time
  • Paralanguage and the use of vocal cues
