About Patrice Miller
Patrice Miller
Patrice Miller has 25+ years of experience in Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Employee Relations in conducting workplace investigations of harassment and discrimination, performance management, leadership coaching, mediations, and training in the areas of EEO, conflict resolution, progressive discipline along with other employee relations topics. She has gained most of her experience in the private sector, however, she also has years of experience in the public sector as well as with non-profit agencies.
Her desire to create or transform cultures to where there is treatment of dignity and respect for all, free of discrimination and harassment, and a place where employees are comfortable speaking up, led her to train specifically as a mediator to help offset the long and sometimes tedious investigations by managing conflict early on and enhancing employee communication skills around conflict.
Additionally, after she conducted many investigations where many of them turned out to be a result of unmanaged conflict, she authored a mini book entitled The Top Five Things to Consider Before Filing an Employee Relations Complaint and How to File an Effective Complaint in 2018.
Patrice holds a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology, from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
She provides mediations, and Human Resources consulting in her business, DreamGoals Coaching and Consulting.
